better flow and the smaller mass of them. I didn't notice any diff, but I wasn't measuring. The hood/firewall seal idea has been discussed here before. Again, I tried it and found no diff. Put it back in, still no diff. Theory is: that's actually a pressure area when driving (notice that's where cabin intake is), so air does not flow out there. Removal could help after car is parked, but how much?
